Stainless Steel Bushfire Mesh — AS 3959 Compliant

Protect your property from ember attack with our premium stainless steel bushfire mesh, engineered to meet AS 3959 construction requirements for buildings in bushfire-prone areas. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant 304 and 316 marine-grade stainless steel with a maximum aperture of 2mm, our mesh stops embers before they can enter your home.

Suitable for windows, doors, vents, weepholes, subfloor openings, decking, and gutters, this mesh is a critical layer of protection across all Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) ratings — from BAL-12.5 through to BAL-40 and BAL-FZ. Built to withstand extreme heat and harsh Australian conditions, it won't corrode, melt, or degrade over time.

Available in rolls and custom sheets to suit residential and commercial builds.

Bushfire Mesh is installed to protect against embers penetrating gaps within a home or building during a bushfire.

Australian standard AS3959-2018 Construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas.

Various sections of the Australian standard AS3959 – 2018 require a mesh to be used for screens or closing gaps greater than 3mm.

Stainless steel Bushfire Mesh has met the physical properties of AS3959 – 2018.
