What Is Brass Material?
Brass is a gold looking metal. Brass metal is made of copper and zinc alloy. Different proportions of zinc and copper create a different range of brasses with different properties. Brass may also include small proportions of different metals – these include phosphorus, aluminium, arsenic, manganese and silicon.
The brass product, over time, will become verdigris (change colour). After it has changed colour brass looks aged and antique. Antique looking brass can be done through a chemical process with the brass metal.
Plain Weave
Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for a majority of wire cloth woven by A1 Metal Mesh Screens’ partner factory. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa.
Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter.
Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.
